Ornamental Scottish Athame

Delivery & Returns
This heavy weight athame builds upon the old Scottish dirk design to introduce a mystical quality to its appearance. Measuring approximately 8 1/2" in length, it has a pewter hilt composed of interwoven Celtic knots, making for a comfortable, textured grip that fits easily in your hand and reduces weight with its hollow interior. At the base, the pommel of the blade is decorated only with a faceted blue gem set into the metal, catching the light and adding to the mystical allure of the athame. The blade itself is approximately 4" long, double edged, and made of stainless steel, resulting in a high quality blade that is certain to endure the rigors of your ritual crafts. This athame also comes with a plastic sheath, decorated at its tip with a pewter engraving of the symbol for eternity.
Please note, this Athame is not made in Scotland.
We aim to send all orders within 24 hours of receiving your order. If there are likely to be any delays, we will email you. An email will be sent telling you when the order will be dispatched. PLEASE CHECK SPAM IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED ONE.
All orders are sent 1st Class Royal Mail. Large or heavy parcels will go by Courier, which can take 3 to 5 working days - although usually quicker. Delivery is attempted 3 times then returned. Extra postage will be needed to resend.
All packages will have proof of postage. Some orders will have to be 'Recorded - Signed For', at our expense.
There is a maximum postage cost of £9.70 and a minimum cost of £2.95.
All UK orders over £50 are Free Delivery.
The Slates are not included in the Free Delivery.
Unless the Item or Items are damaged on delivery, any returns are paid for by the Customer.
Deliveries to the Highlands of Scotland, the Isle of Man and the Shetlands may incur an extra charge, you will be contacted for this.
ORDERS OUTSIDE THE UK
Most orders outside the UK will go as stated on the final order, however for some parcels that are particularly heavy we will have to contact you for extra postage. Like wise if the postage quoted is over by a lot, we will refund. All orders have extra added on for Recorded - 'Signed For' delivery.
There is a maximum limit on Airmail and Surface Mail of 2kg. If the package contains only books the weight limit is 5kg. (Canada 2kg)
IN CASE OF DAMAGE
If the package is damaged and it is 'signed for' please note 'damaged' or 'not inspected' where you sign. Please keep all wrapping and packaging. Please let us know as soon as possible what the damage is. We can then decide the best course of action. Rest assured you will not be out of pocket.

Customs and Excise
We advise checking with Customs if you are importing goods into the country.
